"Liquid shadow. And I would love another." She leans forward a little more against the music, the edge of her cloak sliding off her leg, a cluster of blue lines underneath glowing dully on her grey skin.
He gestures for two of those, because hey, the first one was pretty good, so, here they are. Turning back to the new buddy, quick eyes flicking over the lines of her, the curves of her, before returning back to more appropriate areas, 'Tony Stark. And you'd be?'
'Princess?' He nods his head in slight mock bow, because, what the hell, he's been here a couple of drinks already, his actions don't really have too much thought to them anymore. 'What brings you way out here?'
"Mhm, oh stoppit." She chuckles, waving away the mock-bow.
"To make a very long story very short, I was exiled. And I'm still finding my way back, although I'd found it's nice to stop and admire the scenery from time to time."
[She doesn't mean the laser-soaked nightclub, either.]
He nods a little bit, sipping at his own drink again - almost empty. 'Stop and smell the wildlife, pause to pick-up a native - good words of wisdom. How's the scenery treating you today so far?
[ He smirks a little, basking in the scan. Oh baby. ]
Think I've got my eye on something. I'd need to get it a little better separated from the crowd to look at it properly though. See what I'm getting into.
[She follows with a small eep of surprise, leaning back long though to take one last long drink. Okay, now is fine. Now is great, even!]
[The dance floor is a color-soaked wasteland. Tony may or may not be able to dance... but Midna can. After a few moments of awkward shuffling the beat starts to take over, and those hips start to move...]
[ Hey it was your suggestion. He doesn't move quickly at least, until she starts coming with him.
And hey excuse you Tony can totally dance how do you think he got so popular. Totally all his dancing skills. That doesn't mean he doesn't full appreciate her own skills though, staying close enough to her when the rhythm allows it to feel the heat coming off her skin. ]
[With the steps with the beat, the sweeps of her arms and the occasional spin, it's obvious her idea of dance goes beyond the simple club-shuffle; at one point she twirls into his arms to put him in a spin, long red hair curving around them both from the motion. Presently he'll notice that even after all that dancing her skin instead has a pleasing, vibrant chill about it, like she'd just slithered out of a swimming pool on a hot summer day.]
[ Okay, the heat he would have expected to be coming off her skin, that's fine too. Same thing. Right?
He notices pretty quickly, if for no other reason than that he's expecting one thing and receiving something that's effectively the opposite, even as nice as it is right now. ] Are you cold? [ Pleasing though the cool aspect is, it isn't really all that helpful if she's uncomfortable at all. ]
Hm? Oh, no. [She realizes what he means by that--the topic's come up before--and tosses her hair out of the way while still in his arms.] It's normal for me. My world is dim and cool compared to yours...
[She leans in, lips close to his.] So as far as I'm concerned, you're the one who's hot.
[ Well, hey then. Consider his qualms salved. ] You don't really need to be concerned about that, I think. Most people consider it a good thing. [ If she's gonna be that close anyway, he might as well lean in and test the temperature differential properly. Lips are so sensitive and good for things like that. ]
[Her chill is electrifying, and his heat is delightfully searing. Even past the thumping music he can hear her gasp against his lips, and she takes up the kiss with savoring slowness.]
[ It really is, it's a lot to handle, on a sensate level of things, and with the dancing, and the music, the atmosphere - it's really easy to get lost in it very quickly. She goes slow, that's fine. He'll just slowly slide the tip of his tongue across her lip, both exploring and a question in itself. ]
I - [ and oh man his eyes are dark and bright, looking at her ] - think that's a fantastic idea. I'd love to go talk somewhere a little quieter with you.
[Still clinging to him, she reaches up and snaps her fingers and--
[Ever wanted to know what a milkshake feels like being sucked through a straw? You do now, Tony. When things reorient themselves around him and he gets his bearings he'll notice his surroundings completely different than the club. Quiet, still dimly lit, but covered in jewel-tone tapestries and odd stone bric-a-brac that glow with odd diode-like lines etched into it. The blue girl is still in his arms and smiling secretively.]
I was going to ask "your place or mine" but I didn't know how to get to your place...
[ He does need a moment, yeah, taking a step, hand absently coming up to check the presence and solidarity of the reactor, and glancing around to make sure did that really just okay, cool. Teleportation. Sure thing.
Bearings settled, he recomposes himself and glances around a bit. ]
Yours was closer anyway. Now where were we?
and I accidentally commentspam. Whups. Changing back.
"Oh, right about here." With a smirk he gives Tony a single shove backwards onto the pile of cushions in the center of the room, then craw,s her way atop him to kiss him deeply, cool tongue slinking past his lips.
Oh, excellent, you're a forward thinker. He loves those, even when it means he's falling backwards. That's happened often enough in situations like this that he winds up not falling too ungracefully. But really, it's the follow-through that makes it work, the pressure you add with the crawl and the slink, and he lets his hands come up around her, getting the feel of her even while she does the same to his mouth.

[She's not even attempting to hide the approving scan of her eyes as the fresh pair of drinks arrive.]
What about you? See anything you like here, Tony?
