let's see it's a dog and it's security so he'll try some anti-stealth stuff, something to pick up maybe the buzz of encryptions even though it can't tell you what they'd be? and obvs if they're better than normal that wouldn't always work. lasers are a better idea unless you just want a particularly explodey dog, although plasma-based pulse shots would be fun. i'm lifting things from comics now, but they pick up on kinetic energy so the further away something is, the harder it hits it. you'll have to come by every now and then to refill it but as long as you're not like. shooting everything it shouldn't be that often.
also it'll be able to bite people just because dogs should be able to do that. don't feed it anything but do train it - to make it act like a dog it'll have a simple AI in it that'll learn a bit. also like the suits esp after all the shit recently there'll be a killswitch bc hahahaa
