[ She can't quite see him right now, but she can feel the shift of his body beneath her mouth and hand and in the way the bed moves beneath her knees.

It's always been obvious to her that genuinely making him fall apart would take a significant amount of effort, and perhaps that's the beauty of it. The challenge to it, the single minded focus she has to put into making him beg, the dedication necessary to pull what she wants from him. She wants the moment he lets himself crack fully beneath her, overwhelmingly so, but this - this progress is pretty good too. ]

Like this? [ She presses her hips down against his, grinds against him long and slow and deliberate. ] Is that what you want?

[ He groans, he can't help it, that's basically all that noise was, somewhere between a groan and whatever the balance between satisfaction and marginal pain sounds like. Not that he's in pain, or feels satisfied for that matter - just that there's really only so many sounds you can make without trying to actually make sounds. ]

Yeah, exactly. Like that. [ Mostly. He's not sure how much of that he can actually handle right now, but that doesn't mean he doesn't want more of it, and belatedly, he remembers a little more of their conversation. ] Please, like that. I want like that.

[ She puts a little more force behind her hips for a little bit, lifting her head to watch his face again. This is - incredibly gratifying, really, she knew how much she wanted it and she's still surprised just how gratifying she finds the tone to his voice and his words right now. ]

Is that all? [ Voice low and tight, her hand slipping between his ass and the bed to help her provide pressure. ] Or is there more you'd like?

Ohhh... [ His throat is tight, his eyes are closed, his hands are fists and he isn't still anymore. ] Yes. [ Almost panted. ] Yes, please. [ is there more he'd like? He hardly wants to ask, and he keeps it to himself, even though she's already done it. ] More? More what? I want more, please, do more.

[ She can practically feel him unraveling beneath her. Now is a moment to be very, very careful, that she doesn't push him too far in her effort to get these noises out of him, the way his hands fist, the timbre of his voice. ] Do you want release? [ Easing up on the pressure for just a little bit, watching him intently. ]

[ Yes, well, that's basically what he's finally doing. That little bit of push from her hips, and the string from the tapestry was pulled - now it's just a matter of how quickly it falls apart.

He blinks his eyes open yet once again when she eases up, because he wasn't paying that much attention, and there's a few seconds of looking at her while he recomposes and pieces together what his subconscious heard her asking him. He doesn't think it's that obvious, but he's at a relatively steep deficit here. ] What? Do I want rel-

[ Does he? It's what he thinks he wants, he's pretty sure of it. He's been asking her to stop teasing for a while now. (Although, 'basically since the get-go'; he's not sure if that counts.) So he pauses again, then shakes his head back and forth, no longer looking at her anymore, but instead off to the side. ] No, no no. A little more, I can take it, please, whatever you want to do.

[ She's perfectly all right with that string staying in her hand a little longer, a little slower unraveling and him not only accepting what she'll do to him but asking for more. He's asking for more, and if there's something an ability to monitor his mind is good for, it's bringing him to the very brink and then waiting until things have died down enough to let her go again.

So there's a smile on her face when he says that, her hand slipping between them to grasp him, bring him a little closer even as she watches very carefully in more than one way for the signs that he's close and she needs to stop touching entirely. ] Good. [ A single word to let him know that she's more than all right with giving him a little more. ] You don't have permission until you ask well enough. [ And since she's the judge of that, it's going to have to be pretty damn well. ]

[ That is a noise of surprise, because it's the exact opposite of what he was expecting to get after asking her to keep going - he was expecting more teasing, yes, but of the other kind: the not-touching, the hovering, and that sort of thing. Direct contact, his eyes widen for a moment even as the restraints are incidentally tested for durability again. He more or less gasps an ] Okay. [ but, like before, it doesn't take that long until he's very close to riding the edge she doesn't want him crossing. He twists a little bit, legs and torso tensing with effort in the process, but doesn't actually get any words out this time.

And it feels like he should be asking again, already, but going right back to that, after just being given the option to receive what he would be asking for - well, that just feels a little stupid. ]

[ She can feel it, in the shake of his muscles and how he moves, in his mind where she's still carefully monitoring everything, and she pulls back just before any lines are crossed, returns to hovering just above him but completely absent, not touching, not giving anything but her gaze fixed on him.

She doesn't want him to ask again yet. He said more, and she has every intention of continuing to give him what he wants in a way that gives her a great deal of pleasure too. She presses her fingers to his lips for a moment, watching. Not yet. She's not holding out the offer again just now. He said he could take it. ]

[ That's fine, he's fine with that, he's totally fine with that. He's actually fine with basically everything she decides to do right now unless she stops completely - if she gets up and leaves the room, he'll be quite unhappy about it. Otherwise, totally fine. Mostly.

At that, he just looks up at her, because what else is he supposed to do? There's no movement, he can't talk - he watches her, waiting to see what she's going to do instead, when he'll be able to respond again. ]

[ Fine in certain senses, at least. And not fine in all the ways she wants him to not be fine.

She waits a long moment, nothing moving, and then slides a hand in his hair and tugs his head back to expose his throat further, to let her give it attention. Not much at first, until she's sure that his body has eased up enough to keep it out of danger. ]

[ He wants to keep watching her - it's just another measure of control and believe it or not (it's easier after you know about the cave), Tony Stark has a number of little control things now. He had a few before, but the ones he has now are more plentiful and neither more nor less arbitrary. Either way, wanting to see what someone is doing is hardly out of the ordinary, and he tilts his head obediently back until he's starting to have a hard time seeing her, and at that point he resists. He resists the tugging, he tries to stop moving, but she leans in to start her attention, and he relents the rest of the way almost immediately. It's definitely a loss of control, having someone else at your throat, trusting them - and he does, and he almost can't remember having not trusted her, even before she'd ever helped him; he had, as a Sentinel, always almost implicitly trusted her, as a Guide, not to do anything that would hurt him. It was weird, in retrospect, but even now still makes sense. ]

[ She's fairly well aware of his control things by now, and that just makes overriding them a hell of a lot more interesting for her. Especially when he lets her, in the moments that it's clear he's letting her do this entirely willingly because he wants her to. The resistance is, in its moment, quite perfect as well, but particularly the speed with which he relents. She slides her teeth across his throat, follows it up with sucking a mark onto him. It won't be visible from beneath a shirt, but she wants it there regardless, wants him to know she's leaving a visible sign of herself on him.

It's strange, having trust placed in her. It's strange and she's not entirely sure why he's okay with it, why he does that what seems to her so easily. She doesn't think she will ever entirely believe herself worthy of it, but she will spend every moment with him trying to be. Something worth living up to, for the first time in a long time. ]

[ She sucks a mark, and he does his best to keep not making sounds, even though that effort goes considerably more poorly than hers is likely to do. There's just not a whole lot of reserve left in his cumulative pool of resources to draw from, particularly after having just told her to keep going, that took more than it seemed like, he's noticing.

But it is something he wants her to do. All of this is something he wants her to do. He may not have quite realized it was what he wanted until she came into the room earlier and told him so, but it didn't take long beyond that to catch up with her. It's another weird thing - he doesn't mind following people, really. He's more or less followed people in some form or another for most of his life, just as much as he's done the forefronting. But there's few people he really likes to follow, and she happens to be one of them. ]

[ She doesn't him to have any reserves left, because those noises that are escaping are beautiful to her. She just wants more of them. She waits a moment and then moves her lips down just a bit, starts to repeat the process, sliding one hand up to lace her fingers between his for a moment as she brings her hips down to meet his for a bit.

She really likes being one of those people, and that he will just listen to her. It had been on the spur of the moment, a sudden unreasoning need for this and for him and a sureness that he would find it good too, and she's rather happy she was apparently right. Pretty sure she'll be exhausted, by the end, but very very happy. ]

[ Well, good, because he basically doesn't have any left, what with the first mark, everything else she's been doing, now this one - he all but whimpers, because the whole thing, all this feeling, all this restraint; he's fairly still but he's shifting, slightly, almost constantly now. Whether he's looking for release or just trying to vent his frustration - well, it's up in the air, but it's probably the frustration. His fingers grip hers back almost hard enough to cause pain, but he stops at the last moment, loosens them again, because he doesn't want to hurt her. That's reserved for the other way around, in this context. But hips, oh god, and maybe he said that out loud, because hips, and what is he supposed to do with hips, and he gasps a little bit, because wow, okay, and then is totally not sure beyond that, to the point where he just sort of freezes altogether. ]

[ Oh yes, that noise she especially likes. That one she'd like to get out of him again, if she can, and she bites at the mark she's made, moves down again to repeat the process once more. She grips his hand back almost as hard as he's holding hers, slides her thumb along his skin. The strength of his grip is kind of nice, both as a means of keeping her head clear and as a reminder of how affected he is right now. There's a faint smile on her face at his commentary, totally acceptable right now because it gives her a great deal, and she grinds down against him slowly again. Maybe she can get that gasp out of him again. ]

[ Well, she gets another gasp pretty easily, and this time he flexes his hand once, splaying the fingers wide and then returning to gripping hers in return. He doesn't have much range of motion and it's at least an attempt to vent things, because hips, seriously. Her head might be clear, but his is effectively anything but, muscles tensing beneath her mouth, beneath her legs, and he needs things - he needs more hips, more contact, more ability to reach her in return; it's weird being so consistently distracted without being able to return the favour, up his own odds. It's not a bad thing, but it is relatively new. ]

[ Hips are wonderful, delightful things that were made for giving pleasure. Or in this particular case, a certain mixture of pleasure and pain caused by inability to have it result in release, or to return it. And she's still more than all right with him not being able to touch her, which frankly surprises her. She's not sure why it's so effective on it's own, this arrangement, but it is. He's not going to get more hips right now, though, because she's going to pull back a little with them, remain just out of reach.

It's better to vary the approach, after all, and right now she feels like varying it by not having an approach. ]

What. [ No, what. That's not. That's so not right. That's the opposite of everything she should be doing right now, like, literally the opposite. He tries to move with her when she pulls back, hits the extent of his maneuverability and strains up towards her anyway, because the total opposite, okay. He hums out a noise of frustration when it doesn't yield anything after a few seconds, looking back up at her like he can convince her to come back with just the look on his face. ]

[ While yes, he has a very expressive and convincing face generally, if she can show the restraint necessary to do all this and not just shed her own clothes and fuck him, his face isn't going to work here. In fact, it's going to accomplish approximately the opposite of what he wants, her still hovering out of reach, watching the strain of his body with dark bright eyes, her own expression serious and calm. ]

What? [ A whisper as she leans her head down to press her lips against his just for a moment before pulling away again. ] Did you have a question?

[ Hnnnnnnnnn. Does he have a question. Can he talk yet? Because if so, he has a question. He deliberates for a few seconds, weighing his options. Then clears his throat. ] Will you please... keep going. [ It doesn't mean it's not a bit breathless and between breaths themselves. But it's there now. ]

[ She raises her eyebrows, traces patterns on the back of his hand with her thumb as she considers his question. ] That wasn't very specific. [ Her lips ghosting over the side of his face, down his neck to the hollow of his shoulder. ] Would you like me to keep not doing anything, or was there something else you wanted me to keep doing?

No, please, not doing anything. Not that. You're so far away now, please. [ Almost whispered, actually, since her head is close anyway and it feels like something that should be. He just doesn't have any other way to convince her and right now his words are failing him miserably. ]

[ She can come closer with part of her body, in response to that, nosing along the underside of his jaw and hovering a little closer, but not quite close enough to provide actual warmth or pressure beyond a tantalizing bit of it. It's not that she's not there, anymore, but she's certainly not close enough. ] Tell me what you want, then, Tony.
