Almost nothing in this relationships has progressed particularly normally, really, maybe she should have expected something like this to happen actually.
She doesn't generally mean to broadcast, or even to extend much of herself outwards, but over time more of her feelings, more of her intentions towards him and determination to keep this safe have probably leaked than she meant to. It's not that she doesn't want him to know those things, but saying them out loud or communicating them would mean reactions, and she'd never felt up to handling that, so any leaking has been more or less subconscious.
She can feel that in his mind too, the openness and the unwillingness to let go, and it's almost impossible but she slows down again some, a little more steady and even, her eyes flicking open and meeting his, her own more than a little blown and wide but still perfectly aware, both of what she's doing to him and what she's doing to herself. There's heat pooling in her belly, body a mass of nerves, but she has good self control, she can draw it out a little longer for them both. ]
