[ It is predominately that hour's worth of time that had him lean towards this method than the usual. He doesn't always shave this way, just when he's of a particular mind to, and it requires a very particular mindset to get him there. Today he just happened to wake up in just such a mindset.

At the question though, he glances down at the process. He's never really considered it before, letting someone else help with this. The only time it was ever a two person job was when his dad had first shown him the steps, how to make sure the lather was thick enough, how to keep the skin tight and to press hard enough for a clean, easy shave, but not so hard as to cut or rash yourself. It's an interesting proposition, to be sure.

The deliberation doesn't appear to take that long though, outwardly. Only one or two seconds, because he just thinks that quickly. Then he shrugs, looks back at her through the mirror. ]
If you want. It's not that interesting. I'm sure you're used to shaving.
