[ By the time she pulls away this time, he's breathing quite heavily, between the duration of it, the slightly lower lung capacity, the depth of it and the way he was already breathing before. He doesn't have the breath nor the inclination to speak this time, simply lie there and watch her, eyes darting between her and the gag when she pulls it off her shoulder, mouth open to pull in air a little faster. If his lips look a little bruised already that just adds to the picture, right? He can't see the gag when she places it next to his head, not without turning to look at it, and he'd rather look at her right now, so he simply looks between her face and as far down the arm holding the gag as he can. Gags are a thing he's typically okay with, but occasionally he resents losing the ability to talk. She hadn't initially said anything about a gag when she proposed all of this, and while he's not objecting to the use of one right now, it does mean a shift in things mentally. A gag in addition to the spread way he's restrained is a different situation than otherwise.
