When she lets go though, this time he doesn't gasp so much as just take in a big breath of air, still clearly not entirely back until she's right in front of him, even then not until his eyes finally catch hers and stay there, staring but coming back, until he's blinking a lot and breaking eye contact again but at least with the benefit of being back in the right moment. And if he's a little shaky (trembly), he can't really be blamed for that, right? ]
